Can you miss somebody who died before you were born?
Absolutely.
Bobby, I miss you
You loved without ceasing, fought for others tirelessly, and had a smile that could charm anyone.
You are a beautiful soul; you will never be forgotten
Sock it to ‘em!
This is the crown jewel of the collection. That’s my dad with Bobby Kennedy. This picture was taken just before Bobby Kennedy’s trip to California. For me this represents my dad’s passion for politics, his interest in people and making the world a better place. He has always been involved with his community, city and country. I’m proud to have this picture.
My sister adds: ” The stain on dad’s jacket is from Ethel Kennedy spilling her drink on him. It was before presidential candidates had secret service and so they asked dad and the other reporters on that press junket to help escort them through the crowds at the rally. And Ethel got jostled and spilled. :) I love that Bobby has a lollipop in his hand.”
